Relationship Tune-Up

by Elise Young, Social Worker/Counsellor

Heart and Mind Counselling provides tune-up counselling and an opportunity to work on relationship goals.

Relationship counselling doesn’t have to be only when things have gone critically wrong in our relationship and we are worried about relationship breakdown. Relationship counselling can be a great way to look at improving our relationships as either singles or couples.

How often do we think about goals for your relationships? There are many facets of our relationships that can be explored and work towards in therapy such as:

  • what do we want for our friendship goals; do we want closer or more friendships?

  • What we want as a couple; do we want more meaningful and satisfying intimacy?

  • How do we create safe discussions about red hot topics?

  • How do we have increased fun and play in our marriage?

In addition to goal setting relationship tune up also looks at other questions such as

  • how satisfied are you in your relationship?

  • What is the dream within the conflict?

  • How to argue without damaging your partner or self?

  • What are the gaps you would like to work on?

  • How to be playful and have more shared fun?

Contact Heart and Mind Counselling today if you are looking to tune up your relationship.
